UAW Local 228 is now
a collection site for old cell phones.
We are participating in the
Cell Phones for
Soldiers program which collects old cell phones
then sells them to a company that recycles them. The Cell Phones for
Soldiers organization then purchases pre-paid calling cards for the
U.S. troops stationed overseas. Clean out your closets and drawers
and drop your old cell phones off at the local and help support our
troops by keeping them connected to their loved ones.
